SHANE & FRIENDS CANCELLED?!

Back in October 2010, YouTube sensation Shane Dawson started a series on his main channel called "Shane & Friends", where he and his characters such as Shanaynay, Ned the nerd, Paris Hilton, S-Deezy, Shane's Mom, and Aunt Hilda have their own segments. Shane posts a new episode one Saturday a month. But on December 31st, 2011, after Shane posted an interactive New Year's Eve-themed "Shane & Friends" video, that was the last time he ever posted a new "Shane & Friends" video. What could be wrong? I mean, it's not like Shane never found the time to make a new "Shane & Friends" video. I mean, he's still doing regular videos, vlogs, song parodies, and occasionally "Ask Shane" videos. So, this led me to the conclusion that Shane decided not to do any more "Shane & Friends" videos.

For those of you who's never seen "Shane & Friends" before, here are the characters and their segments on "Shane & Friends".

Shanaynay: Shanaynay's segment is called "Shanaynay'z Tipz", where she gives out not-so-helpful tips about stuff like going as Lady Gaga for Halloween, makeovers, dead pets, becoming famous, Valentine's Day, the movie "Black Swan", and how to get pregnant. Shanaynay's wall is decorated with white feather boas. Kristin Findley appears in 2 "Shanaynay'z Tipz" segments, in the Valentine's Day episode "SEXY CUPID KILLED", she has Cupid (played by Katie Locke O'Brien) as a special guest on her show, and Lisa Schwartz makes an appearance in the Shanaynay'z Tipz segment "HOW TO GET PREGNANT" from the interactive "Shane & Friends" video.

Ned: Ned's segment is called "Ned's Nerd Werld" (Yeah, I realize that the word "world" is spelled with an E.), where Ned talks about his awful and traumitizing childhood which is shown in the style of a cartoon drawing. Although in the first "Ned's Nerd Werld" segment, the opening sequence was different, and he talked about a robot panda that told him that he was going to become homeless and was going to be living on a bicycle and that he'll be morbidly obese and HIV positive, which results in Ned getting angry and destroying the panda with a baseball bat. In the Valentine's day episode "SEXY CUPID KILLED", Ned tries to find a girlfriend on a dating website, only to find out that it's just men exposing their...need I say more? He also posted a dating profile, which results in causing 2 girls to throw up after seeing his picture. In the Easter episode "SEXY & CRAZY ON EASTER", Ned shows us the hidden camera feature of his home security system and what it's recorded, like Ned putting peanut butter on his crotch and whipped cream on his ass for his dog to lick off, binging on pizza, Doritos, Cheetos, and Fritos, threatening to kill himself and then telling his mom that he didn't kill himself, and jacking off to Rebecca Black. He also shows us the hidden camera he installed in his girlfriend's house, which shows Ned's girlfriend having sex with another man. In the segment "ANIMATED SHANE DAWSON" from the interactive "Shane & Friends" video, Ned explains how each year when he makes a New Year's resolution, it never turns out well. Ned has a toy snow owl named Hedwig. (Yeah, I know that Harry Potter also has a snow owl named Hedwig.) Ned's room is always decorated with a bookcase full of books, and a whiteboard on the wall.

Paris Hilton: Paris' segment is called "Ask Paris Hilton", where she answers people's video questions with not-so-helpful nor positive advice. Paris' room is always decorated with a Taylor Lautner poster on the wall along with a painting of flowers and a birdhouse, and a table with a lamp and a ceramic pig wearing a tiara on it in the background. Paris' dog Tinkerbell is played by Shane Dawson's dog Miley. She even had special guests on her show like Lindsay Lohan (played by Lisa Schwartz), Britney Spears (played by Melissa Villasenor), and Kim Kardashian (played by Nikki Limo).

S-Deezy: S-Deezy's segment is called "S-Deezy's G-Spot", where he talks about stuff involving sex, and he also reluctantly invites a sexy female guest on his show which always results in S-Deezy getting aroused and ending up jizzing himself and calling out the names of Pokemons. When that occurs, the female guest that he has on his show always becomes shocked and/or grossed out and asks him "Did you just cum?" which then results in S-Deezy shooting the female guest with a gun. In the Valentine's Day episode "SEXY CUPID KILLED", S-Deezy's grandmother is invited on the show, where it's revealed that S-Deezy's real name is Stanley. And even she gets S-Deezy aroused and ends up getting shot. In the Easter episode "SEXY & CRAZY ON EASTER", Milly from "Ask Milly" is invited on the show. And even she ends up getting S-Deezy aroused and ends up getting shot. (Which is strange because even though Milly was shot, she's still alive and still doing "Ask Milly".) In an "S-Deezy's G-Spot" from the New Year's "Shane & Friends" video called "NUNS GONE WILD!!!", S-Deezy invites his old Catholic school teacher as a special guest and even she causes S-Deezy to get aroused and jizz himself, except instead of him shooting his Catholic school teacher, he accidentally shoots himself. S-Deezy's G-Spot is always decorated with a Kim Kardashian poster and a Bob Marley poster in the background.

Shane's Mom: Shane's Mom's segment is called "Wisdom From Shane's Mom", where she gives out not-so-helpful advice. Shane's Mom's wall is always decorated with empty beer bottles up on a shelf.

Aunt Hilda: Aunt Hilda's segment is called "Aunt Hilda's Home and Garden Show", where Aunt Hilda shows everyone how to do stuff like baking cookies shaped like..well, let's just say a certain male body part. And turning a boring plant into a beautiful flower plant by using tequila, limes, and human feces, and how to turn a simple pair of pants into a pair of sexy pants, and making dolls out of rolls of toilet paper, and tasting disgusting leftover soup, writing messages on Easter eggs, and even making a survival kit for the end of the world. Aunt Hilda's kitchen is always decorated with pink cupboards, a hanging microwave in the background, and a pineapple on the counter. Benny Fine made an appearance in the "Aunt Hilda's Home & Garden Show" segment "DRUNK on 2012!!!" as Ke$ha.

Shane: Shane's segment is called "Shane's Question Of The Day", where at the end of every "Shane & Friends" video, Shane asks the viewers his question of the day and to leave their response in the comments and they could win one of his T-Shirts from Hot Topic. Shane's bedroom is always decorated with a Reese's pillow in the background.

Man, I can see why Shane decided to quit "Shane & Friends". Because the last one he posted got flagged. (But it got re-uploaded.) So, I'm guessing that Shane's not going to do any more "Shane & Friends" videos because he's worried that they might get flagged. Do you think that's the reason why? What do you think?

Black and Green Duck

When my uncle and I went to the 2011 Deschutes county fair, we went to check out the birds they had there like ducks, geese, chickens, roosters, and turkeys. And there was this bird there that looked like a black duck with kind of a shade of green. But according to the sign on its cage, it said it was a chicken. But even I knew perfectly well that it was a duck because chickens don't have webbed feet. Do you guys agree that this is a duck?

B.L.T Poster Fail

On Sunday, July 17th, A YouTube user named BrittaniLouiseTaylor held a contest for designs for her own poster, and she had us submit them to bltpostercontest@gmail.com, and they had to be 24 x 18 on image size and 300 DPI, which seemed too small on my Paint program. And the winner would be chosen on Saturday, July 30th. (But she chose the winner a week late.) But when I tried to submit my poster design to the poster contest at GMail.com, the link wouldn't work. And I do have a Google account. Anyway, here's my poster design. It's Brittani as a cherry lollipop, and at the bottom of the poster is the word "SWEET". You can tell that's Brittani because she's wearing the silver tiara hair clip that she wore in Shane Dawson's "HAUNTED HOUSE PARTY" video. This poster idea should have won. But no! Another YouTube user named JanixCherie won the poster contest. While I think MY poster idea is sweet. JanixCherie isn't! I'm not kidding! I admit that I'm jealous, there's no way to deny it. I mean, do you think MY poster design should have won? Have a look for yourself and tell me your honest opinion. That means you, Brittani. And you too, JanixCherie!

Party Animals fun house.

Today, at the 2011 Deschutes county fair, I went into this fun house called Party Animals, and check out these pictures I took while I was in there.

Dance party: When I entered the fun house, the first thing I went through was what looked like to be an futurtistic dance studio. They had this huge orange stereo that played loud pop music from the '80s and '90s. There were footprints painted on the floor, and there were some silly mirrors.

Footprints: These are the footprints painted on the floor in the dance studio part of the fun house.

Silly mirror: This is one of the silly mirrors in the fun house. It was kind of hard to take a picture of the mirror without the camera flash reflecting off of it.

Paint splatter maze: Next, I went through a maze that had paint splattered on the walls.

Moving floor: Next, I had to cross a metal floor that moved up and down.

Rolling pipes:  Next, I had to cross some metal pipes that rolled when you walk on them.

Rotating floor: Next, I had to cross a rotating guard railed floor.

Tumbling exit: And last but not least, I had to exit through the tumbling exit. It was the only way out. When I got in it, I kept tumbling inside it. I almost crushed my digital camera.

That '90s Show: Meet the characters!

Back in April 2009, a YouTube group by the name of JAFSvideos started their own YouTube series called "That '90s Show". The show is basically a spoof of the 1998 Fox TV series "That '70s Show". The show centers around four teenagers named Faith (aka Gillz), Sarah, Andrew, and Loca in Long Island, New York in the year 1998. The show only had 2 episodes and 8 minisodes. They didn't have any more new episodes since then. In the first episode, the theme song was "In The Street" by Cheap Trick (the theme song to "That '70s Show"), but then in "Happy Campers?", the theme song was "All The Small Things" by Blink 182.

Faith (Gillz): Faith Gillen (aka Gillz) is kind of the leader of the group. In the first episode, Faith wore glasses, but for the rest of the episodes, mostly the minisodes, Faith didn't wear glasses. Faith has a stepsister named Alice whom Loca wasn't very nice to in the minisode "Alice". Faith used to date this boy named Bryan Ventura for 2 years until he moved away. Faith has a new boyfriend named Jake Hoge (aka Pogz) who is never seen on the show, not even in the minisodes. Faith also enjoys skateboarding. Faith also has a collection of snow globes on her dresser, and her bedroom mirror is always decorated with stickers, pictures, and cut-outs of logos. She also has a lot of posters on her bedroom walls. In the minisode "I Scream, You Scream We All....Play Blackjack?", she claims to have an old recipe for vanilla ice cream, which is just ice cubes, milk, and vanilla extract.

Sarah: Sarah Forman is the youngest of the group. In the episode "Happy Campers?", it was revealed that she has a crush on Andrew after Faith and Loca catch them making out in the tent while trying to scare them with a Ghostface mask and a Jason mask. In the first episode, she unknowingly invited Loca to move in with her after the gang finds out that she's an orphan.

Andrew: Andrew Newton is the only dude of the group. In the first episode, Andrew wore sunglasses (and then later, eyeglasses), and had long hair until Loca shaved his head. Andrew's hair was short throughout the series. In the minisode "Battle Of The Bands", It is revealed that Andrew has a band that bailed on him before Battle Of The Bands. In the episode "Happy Campers?", it was revealed that he had a crush on Sarah. Although, in "Battle Of The Bands", Andrew and Faith almost kissed. Andrew rides a purple bicycle that was stolen (but later returned) by Loca in the first episode. In the episode "Happy Campers?", when Faith and Sarah admit that they miss the '80s, Andrew tells them that of course they miss the '80s, and then says that the kids born in the '90s will miss the '90s, and the kids born in the 2000s will miss the 2000s, and then says that it's just a big cycle of bitching. Faith then says that no one's going to miss the '90s. Sarah then asks if kids are going to miss the show "Goosebumps", and then Andrew replies to Sarah "Hell no, that show sucks."

Loca: Loca is the tough Mexican immigrant girl of the group. In the first episode, the gang first meets Loca at 7-Eleven after she steals Andrew's bike (and shoes). The gang learn that Loca is an orphan. They let her join the group, and Sarah unknowingly invites Loca to move into her basement. In the minisode "Alice", Loca almost successfully tries to be nice to Faith's stepsister Alice, even with a bribe. In the first episode, Loca spoke with a Mexican accent, but for the rest of the series, she had no accent. Loca has a twin brother named Loco whom she planned to go to California with, but she got on the wrong plane, and Loca ended up in Long Island. Loco is never seen on the show, not even in the minisodes. In "Happy Campers?", it was revealed that Loca doesn't know how to skateboard. In the minisode "Battle Of The Bands", It's revealed that Loca is a terrible singer. When she tried to sing the song "I Miss You", she sung it so bad, Andrew's head exploded. (Andrew lived.) In the minisode "Kaity Sanders", Loca starts hanging out with Kaity Sanders, but when Kaity tells her to ditch those dweebs (Faith, Sarah, and Andrew), and hang out with her crew, Loca tells her that she'd rather hang out with those dweebs than with her, and decides to leave. But then Kaity reveals that she doesn't have a lot of friends. She asks Loca if she can chill with her friends, and after reminiscing over when she first joined the gang, she replies to Kaity "No. Later.", and walks away.  It was also revealed in a video called "Fisheye Fun PART 2!!: Gillz and Bryan had secks in a tree?!" that her real name is Catalina Gonzalez.

Additional characters:

Kaity: Kaity Sanders is known for being a rich, spoiled mean girl. She first appears in the minisode "Kaity Sanders". In the minisode, it was revealed that Kaity did some mean things to Faith and Sarah, like writing "I love man boobs" on Sarah's locker, and putting sardines in Faith's backpack. But the gang still treat her as a friend anyway. In the minisode "Only Lame-Os Sleep At Sleepovers", it is rumored that Kaity has a crush on Andrew. Kaity has an ex-boyfriend named James who lives in Canada. Sometimes, when James is mentioned to her, she vomits (never on-screen). In the minisode "I Scream, You Scream We All....Play Blackjack?" Kaity, Faith, and Alice try to make vanilla ice cream from scratch and Kaity smashes the "ice cream" mixture in a Ziploc bag with a dog brush pretending it's her ex-boyfriend James' head. Kaity also has a collection of china dolls. In a video called "GILLZ VS. KAITY VS. SHORTZ (post cali)" it was revealed that Kaity made out with Faith's boyfriend Jake (Pogz).

Alice: Alice Gillen (sometimes referred to as "Kansas" because that's where she was born.) is Faith's stepsister. She is first seen in the minisode "Alice". At first, Alice kept getting picked on by Loca, but she picked on Loca back without Faith knowing. But later on, they became friends. Alice is only seen in 3 minisodes.

Victoria (Shortz): Victoria Schwartz (aka Shortz) is the Jewish roller-skater of the gang. She is only seen on the show in 3 minisodes, "Only Lame-Os Sleep At Sleepovers", "Gillz&Shortz:: Friends Or Enemies?", and "The Secret". In the minisode "The Secret", it was revealed that she had a crew in California that Faith's ex-boyfriend Bryan was also part of. Shortz also plays hockey, which is never seen in any episode or minisode. In the minisode  "Gillz&Shortz, Friends Or Enemies?", she shows Faith a trick involving a lighter and a can of hairspray.

Bryan: Bryan Ventura is Faith's ex-boyfriend. Bryan is only on the show in the minisode "They Did What?", and is also mentioned in the first episode, and the minisode "Battle Of The Bands". It is rumored that Faith and Bryan had sex, but Faith seriously denies it. It was also revealed in the minisode "The Secret" that Bryan was in Shortz's crew in California.

Jake (Pogz): Jake Hoge (aka Pogz) is Faith's current boyfriend. He is never seen on the show, or even mentioned.

James: James Fenton is Kaity Sanders' ex-boyfriend who moved away to Canada. The gang considers him a stalker.

Loco: Loco is Loca's twin brother. He is never seen on the show, or even mentioned. Him and Loca planned to go to California together, but Loca got on the wrong plane and ended up in Long Island. Loco is never shown, but in a photo of him, he has long black hair, wears a black hat, a blue bandana over his mouth, and a nose ring.

Mr. Gillen: Mr. Gillen is Faith's dad and Alice's stepdad. He is only seen in the minisode "I Scream, You Scream, We All....Play Blackjack?" In the minisode, he plays Faith in a game of blackjack, Faith bets him a sponsorship she found in Tibet for some unknown thing. Mr. Gillen bets on Faith's surfboard. When he loses, he says that he's out, and walks out.

JAFSvideos also did a cartoon version of "That '90s Show" called "That '90s Cartoon". Where the gang sits around in either Faith's bedroom because of all the posters on the wall, or the basement because there's a couch. And they answer questions sent in by their viewers. Faith and Andrew sit in beanbag chairs and Loca and Sarah sit on the couch. Sarah doesn't appear in the first "That '90s Cartoon" video.

In 2010, JAFSvideos closed its account, and there's a possibility that "That '90s Show" won't make a comeback. But I don't see any reason why it should. The show takes place in the year 1998. That's 2 years before the end of the '90s decade! Why couldn't "That '90s Show" take place in 1996 just like "That '70s Show" took place in 1976? Plus, most of the characters had their own YouTube channels like 90sShowLoca, 90sShowGillz, 90sShowLoco, 90sShowShortz, 90sShowJames, and 90sShowSarah, and just did normal videos. Plus, back in 2009, they posted a promo for an episode of "That '90s Show" that's supposed to take place on New Year's Eve 1999 because it mentioned something about Y2K, and towards the end of the video, you can hear the gang count down to midnight. But the episode never aired because it was never filmed. There were also supposed to be one or two more episodes before the so-called "Y2K episode", but unfortunately, those one or two episodes were never filmed either. (Just so you know, the name of the "That '90s Show" promo is called "Coming Soon To JAFSvideos....".) So, believe me when I say this, the YouTube series "That '90s Show" is the lamest YouTube series ever! So, I say to you, the cast of "That '90s Show", later much, lame-os!

Creepster On Flying Carpet

Back in summer 2008, when I went to the county fair, my uncle and I saw this guy riding on a magic flying carpet. (It wasn't real, by the way.) And I took a picture of him, and then he gave me his card. I don't remember what his name was, it didn't sound like a cool name. But part of his name was "The Pretty Good". IDK for sure if he's famous or not. Maybe either in my state or in other states. Maybe even in Canada. If you have any info about this guy, please share.
